The title of the fastest street-legal motorbike sometimes alternates between different models produced by Kawasaki, Suzuki, BMW, and Ducati, among other manufacturers. The maximum speeds of these motorcycles typically fall between 180 and 220 mph (290 and 350 km/h), depending on the model and any custom modifications.
Kawasaki:
- The Ninja H2R is the fastest production motorbike made by Kawasaki. The Ninja H2R’s 998cc inline-four supercharged engine makes it an incredible machine. It can reach incredible speeds and is only meant to be used on tracks. It has an electronic top speed restriction of about 400 km/h (248 mph).
Suzuki:
- The Suzuki Hayabusa is Suzuki’s entry in the race to be the fastest motorbike. The amazing speed and power of the Hayabusa have long been recognized. Introduced in 2021, the most recent iteration has enhanced aerodynamics, sophisticated electronics, and a bigger 1340cc engine. It is electrically restricted to a maximum speed of about 299 km/h (186 mph).
BMW:
- The BMW S1000RR is the company’s fastest production motorbike. The technology and performance of this superbike are well known. A 999cc inline-four engine with cutting-edge electronics and aerodynamics powers the most recent versions. Although breaking the record for fastest top speed is not BMW’s only goal, the S1000RR can achieve over 300 km/h (186 mph).
Ducati:
- The Panigale V4 R is the quickest motorbike ever produced by Ducati. With a 998cc V4 engine that’s taken from Ducati’s MotoGP motorcycles, this superbike is designed to be fast. Both its sophisticated circuitry and power output are outstanding. The Panigale V4 R can reach peak speeds of well over 300 km/h (186 mph), yet Ducati does not place much emphasis on reaching the fastest possible time.
