Final thoughts: some advice
How should you conduct yourself on Czech roads? Kindly use caution, show respect for others and the environment, and keep your riding abilities in mind. The speed limit on highways is 130 km/h; outside of town, please drive no faster than 90 km/h; and within municipalities, unless otherwise indicated, please drive no faster than 50 km/h. Although you might be tempted to accelerate over long, straight stretches of road, please prioritize both your own and other people’s safety.
Feel free to travel borders because the Czech Republic is situated in the center of both Europe and the European Union (the Schengen region). All you need to enjoy boundless vistas from the saddle of your iron horse is a valid motorbike insurance policy, an international driver’s license for the motorcycle, and a passport or state ID.
